FINDING PEACE
In the face of the current global crisis, the need for inner peace becomes even greater than ever. This Webinar will give you the skills to develop mindful, compassionate habits leading to greater contentment and peace.
FINDING JOY
Joy comes in different forms, from the shout-from-the-mountain-top joy to the silent, psalm-in-your-head joy. It is everywhere, but we must be on the lookout for it in its many forms. Joy can appear as a quiet smile of gratitude that we or someone we love has taken another breath and seen another sunrise. Find out more about Joy in this free webinar!
FINDING PATIENCE
Patience is a virtue, but it’s not always easy. One of the many benefits of being patient is that it helps us to make better decisions and allows us to get our thoughts back in order and our feelings under control. Being patient can help us realize that success will come to those who do not give up. Don’t miss out this webinar and find out more!
GROWING IN GOODNESS
When asked, most people wanted more patience or recognized a need for deeper self-control. But when it came to “goodness,” it is less obvious. Probably it’s meaning is obscured to us and seems to be so subjective. Still, it’s an important character to hone. Paul (and Moses, Solomon, David, Micah, Isaiah and Jesus before him) challenged us that our lives ought to be full of goodness.
LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR BRAIN
This presentation conveys the essence and vitality of the field of neuroscience - examining the progress we've made in understanding how brains work, and shedding light on discoveries having to do with aging, mental illness, and brain health.
GROWING IN GENTLENESS
Gentleness actually makes a big difference in our lives. Gentleness is not just “nice” but is also surprisingly effective -- in getting things done efficiently and in maintaining peaceful, loving relationships. On a deeper level, gentleness is part of man's true spiritual nature as the child of God
GROWING IN FAITHFULNESS
Faith. Here used for ‘fidelity’—punctuality in performing promises, conscientious carefulness in preserving what is committed to our trust, in restoring it to the proper owner, in transacting the business confided to us, neither betraying the secret of our friend, nor disappointing the confidence of our employer.
EXERCISING SELF CONTROL
We will not operate in any of the fruit of the Spirit without self control. The fruit of the Spirit is not about how we feel, or about our personalities, but about what we choose to do.
GROWING IN LOVE
The English word love has very broad meaning, but the Greek language was very precise. The love which the Holy Spirit manifests in believers is agape. This love is not a feeling, but a choice. It is the choice to be kind, to sacrifice, to consider another’s needs greater than one’s own (Philippians 2:3).
