Suicides Don’t Stop the Pain — They Transfer It

We all go through seasons of deep pain. Sometimes the weight feels unbearable, the nights too long, and the silence too heavy. It is vital to acknowledge your suffering — it is real, it matters, and you are not weak for feeling it. But while the darkness whispers that escape is the only way out, the truth is this: suicide doesn’t end the pain, it only transfers it to those who love you.

If you are struggling, please know that your life has worth and your story is not finished. There is a way forward — and it can be summed up in one word: 𝐇.𝐎.𝐏.𝐄..

𝐇 – 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐎𝐧
Pain is temporary, even when it feels permanent. Hold on one more day, one more hour, one more moment. Light often comes when we least expect it.

𝐎 – 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐔𝐩
Don’t carry the burden alone. Open up to someone you trust — a friend, family member, counselor, or support line. Speaking the pain lessens its weight.

𝐏 – 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲
Prayer invites God into the deepest places of our pain. When words fail, prayer reminds us that God is near to the brokenhearted.

𝐄 – 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩
Equip yourself with the right tools for healing: through books, podcasts, teachings and professional guidance. With the right resources, you’ll be strengthened for the journey ahead.
.
Your pain can be healed. Your life still has meaning. Suicide does not end suffering — it multiplies it. Choose 𝐇.𝐎.𝐏.𝐄. instead.
