While this course does not qualify participants as professional counselors, it provides valuable skills to recognize needs, offer faith-based encouragement, and guide others with wisdom and compassion. Course Curriculum: Introduction to Christian Counseling
Module 1: The Finer Aspects of Counseling Skills
Develop essential listening, empathy, and communication techniques for effective Christian counseling. Module 2: Understanding and Managing Anxiety & Depression Learn faith-based approaches to supporting individuals struggling with anxiety and depression. Module 3: Marriage, Family, and Relationship Counseling Explore biblical principles and practical strategies for counseling couples and families. |
Module 4: Counseling Adolescents and Young Adults
Understand the unique challenges faced by youth and provide guidance rooted in faith and psychology. Module 5: Grief, Loss, and Trauma Counseling Equip yourself with tools to help individuals navigate loss, bereavement, and emotional wounds. Module 6: Practical Application & Ethical Considerations Engage in real-world case studies, role-playing exercises, and discussions on ethical counseling practices. |
100% attendance is required to obtain the Certificate of Completion.
